Mr. and Miss Indias struck with IPL fever

The cricketing extravaganza, Indian Premier League season 11, has set in making fans all over the country go crazy. Our misters and beauty queens are also not far behind with many of them supporting their favorite teams and cricketers. Let us take a look at who our Miss Indias and Mr. Indias are rooting this 2018 season.

Peter England Mr. India 2016 1st runner- up Viren Barman is supporting his home team Delhi Daredevils this year and he hopes the Gautam Gambhir led side lifts the trophy this time. Likewise he is a great fan of Delhi boy and Indian skipper Virat Kohli who is plying his trade for Royal Challengers Bangalore this IPL.

Peter England Mr. India 2017 1st runner-up Abhi Khajuria who is known for his bold personality and attractive looks is supporting Kolkata Knight Riders this year. The handsome hunk is a huge fan of Aussie spearhead Mitchell Johnson one of the key players of KKR.

Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2015 2nd runner up Naveli Deshmukh is rooting for defending champions Mumbai Indians. She is also admires MI skipper Rohit Sharma for his great style and wrist work at the crease.

Peter England Mr. India 2016 second runner-up Altamash Faraz is today a regular face on the ramp and is applauded for this fashion sense off the ramp too. The team he wishes lifts the trophy this season is Delhi Daredevils. Quite contrary to the team he supports, his favorite player is crowd-favorite and Delhi boy Virat Kohli who is plying his trade for Royal Challengers Bangalore. It’s surely a dilemma for him when his favorite player is pitted against his favorite team.

Quite a revelation sort of, Mister Supranational 2016 2nd runner-up, Jitesh Thakur is an ardent follower of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Breaking the suspense, the uncapped player who was bought for a whopping amount by RCB, Aniket Choudhary happens to be his childhood best friend and is one of the fastest bowlers in the team. Jitesh hopes to see RCB and his friend clinching the title this year.

He also happens to share his name with his favorite player Rahul Dravid. In the previous editions, he would support only the team Dravid played for, but this year he is strongly rooting for his home team and is desperate to see the cup coming home.

Her love for cricket even drags her to the stadium and she is often seen in high spirits cheering for her team. However, a player she is completely bowled over by is the Afghani fast bowler Rashid Khan.

Reigning fbb Femina Miss India World Priyadarshini Chatterjee’s excitement for the Indian Premier League is equivalent to that of an entire army of fans. She has followed cricket all through her childhood and still continues to do so. The reason behind her love for cricket is none other than the master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Hence, undoubtedly her favorite team happens to be Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians seem to be a hit among the ladies. Lopamudra Raut doesn’t want to acknowledge any other team if it’s not MI. She really wants to see the cup coming back to bay. Her loyalty stays with the team irrespective of the players retained or swapped.
